I have bent 2 of these on 6 total tire changes. I am sure that the rim is setting on the support blocks. I believe it is bending when I am trying to get the very last part of the bead over the rim on my rear tire installs. I heat the tires, use the rim center tools and use a lot of bead grease so not sure what else to do. :-(

Hello and thank you for your review. Please contact Rabaconda customer support by emailing support@Rabaconda.com, we are happy to assist. We will replace the Spindle under warranty and provide tips on making the tire changing process easier. The key to changing any tire is getting the bead down into the drop center opposite the Duck Head. As the bead gets tight, when there is only a 1/4 of the bead left to mount, the bead will either ride up on the rim or drop into the center of the rim. Even with the drop center tools in place it still may be necessary to push on the side wall to guide the bead down into the drop center. Please send an email and we will provide additional assistance. Thank you
It worked very well for the front tire of a BMW R1150GS. The rear tire I had a lot of trouble with and bent a 20mm spindle. There may be better ways to center the rear wheel by using the BMW adapter in a different way and also another adapter on the other side may tighten it up. I'll find out next time. The rear tire was the first one I changed. I've learned a few things that will hopefully make it work better next time.

This tool has already paid for itself. I don't know what I would do without it.

Hello and thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear your Spindle has bent. This part is covered by our life time warranty so I am happy to get you a warranty replacement. Please contact me at support@rabaconda.com. Here are also a few tips to help prevent this form happening moving forward. The most common cause for a bent Spindle is the wheel not being fully supported by the Wheel Supports. If the sprocket or rotor on the wheel makes contact with the frame of the Tire Changer before the Wheel Supports you will most likely bend a Spindle when breaking the bead. Always check to make sure the wheel is completely supported by the Wheel Supports before changing tires. Use the include Wheel Support Risers if needed. Thank you
Thank you for the parts. Always super fast shipping.
I have always been one that likes to change their own tires but some of these tires that fit the big adventure bikes are a real b…. to get mounted and that’s where the Rabaconda shines
Don’t get me wrong they’re still hard to get on and off the rim but this device sure does help and if you like to change your own tires it can pay for itself in no time
The price was the only thing that I was hesitant about but I got my riding buddy to agree to pay half the price and we haven’t looked back
I'm surprised the one it came with bent already. That spindle needs to be straight so the duck head travels around the rim well. Michelin tires have a stiff bead and side wall which might have caused the bend in the spindle. Glad the replacement was reasonably priced. Have done enough tire swaps to pay foe the machine. Love the tire changer. It's perfect. Swap when you want.
