It’s always good to start new season with a great news and what is a better way than announcing partnership with a beautiful and very talented reigning two times Women’s trial and superenduro World Champion Emma Bristow from England.

As most of good partnerships need a good team, we salute our most remarkable partner in UK Rangers Garage and Mr. Alan Ranger for hooking us with Emma.

Here’s Emma’s fascinating story by her own words, exclusively for Rabaconda community: 

“I really can’t imagine life without bikes. My granddad raced road bikes and my uncles rode trials bikes. Born in October 1990, I grew up in Lincolnshire on the family farm. I can remember watching my uncles ride and thinking they were incredible and that I could never do what they are doing!

So when my brother and cousins began riding bikes around the farm and surrounding areas, it was a natural thing for me to join in. It never crossed my mind that I was a girl and that bikes were for boys. I just saw the fun everyone was having and was fortunate enough to be given my own bike.
I always rode for fun and never competed nationally, until my early teenage years when it was suggested I should go and compete in the girls and women’s British Trials championship.

So dad took me to the opening round of the 2004 nationals and I was warned by mum and dad that it was my ever national and not to be upset if it didn’t go well and to try and enjoy it. There was never any pressure back then. To everyone’s surprise I ended up winning my class and we decided to contest the rest of the championship which I ended up winning in my first year.

The next few years we travelled the country and Europe competing. After school I finished with good grades and was accepted to university but had decided it wasn’t for me and that I wanted to pursue a career in sport.

Its not been an easy path, but being the very best I can be has always kept me motivated.

In 2014 actually won my first world championship in Superenduro again in my first ever year of competing. I was only ever going to race the first round of the championship as it was in the UK but I rode a great race to finish second. However the race long fight for the win made we want me more of this new faster racing discipline and a couple of months later I took a surprise win in France to become Superenduro World Champion, an incredible feeling as it was so unexpected.

Later in the year I finally won the world trials championship after 3 years at No.2. This championship felt like more of a relief because I had worked so hard for it for so many years and I wanted it more that anything.

In 2015 I had two world titles to defend, the Superenduro was different as I was now expected to win but my approach was completely different as I actually prepared for the challenge and won 3 of 4 races to retain my title. I put myself under real pressure to win the Trials world title, but in the end I managed to ride as I know I can, it went pretty much to plan and I took my fourth World Championship.

The future is exciting I plan to continue working hard in order to keep winning world championships in both disciplines, but also to gain more experience with Extreme Enduro and have fun along the way. Who knows where it will take me.”
