Anyone who has changed a tyre knows that a lever is not just a lever. They come in different shapes and sizes, are made from different materials, and can speed you up or slow you down during a tyre change. 13-time EWC champion Juha Salminen once said that if you have to use a lot force when changing tyres, something is wrong. ROUNDED EDGES Many levers have sharp, pointy edges that can break the tube when you're trying to get the lever between the rim and the tyre.
