Like many riders, Kailub got into racing through his dad. Growing up with a dad who was a rider has certainly inspired his career. One of his best riding moments was winning the GNCC aboard a 150cc two stroke in 2014. Check out our Q&A with Kailub below: How did you get started in riding? My dad Jeff Russell was the 1991 AMA National Enduro Champion, so I grew up going to races all the time. What do you do when you aren't riding? What are your hobbies? When I'm not riding I'm either golfing or riding jetskis. What do you do in the off-season? I usually head to Florida and do lots of riding and cycling. Where's your favorite place to ride? I really enjoy riding in the sands in Florida during the off-season. Your favorite track? Any track that is nice and loamy and rough! What was your best moment as a pro rider? My best moment was winning my first GNCC championship in 2009, and also winning the GNCC aboard a 150cc two stroke in 2014! What are your riding goals? To win overall at ISDE. What is your advice for those just starting out? Don't give up and be tenacious. Do you have any favorite videos? My favorite videos are all of the old Terrafirma dirt bike movies I watched as a kid. Why did you choose the Rabaconda 3-Minute Mousse Changer? I chose Rabaconda because it's the fastest and easiest way to change tires!
