Rabaconda Rider Cody Webb [Q&A]
Cody Webb was 19 when he bought his first dirt bike. He started with trials, and his first EnduroCross was on a trials bike. By then, he was hooked. Cody has being collecting titles and X Games medals, including 1st place in the 2010 AMA National Trials and 2014 Geico EnduroCross.
How did you get started in riding?
My father grew up competing in trials events, so I naturally began riding motorcycles at a young age.
What do you do when you aren't riding?
I spent my free time on the bicycle, going to school, and working on my track.
What are your hobbies?
I really enjoy cycling a lot and being out in nature.
What do you do in the off-season?
I haven't had an off-season it seems like in the last three years. When I do get time off, however, I really enjoy free riding.
Do you have any pre-race rituals?
No pre-race rituals. Perhaps I need to start.
Where's your favorite place to ride?
There are too many places to choose for this specifically. Either a secret place two hours from my house in central California or out in the Idaho mountains.
Your favorite track?
Probably the local motocross track in Hollister, California. I haven't found the perfect track yet.
What was your best moment as a pro rider?
Winning the 2014 Endurocross championship was huge for me.
What are your riding goals?
To continue winning big races and having fun in the process.
What is your advice for those just starting out?
Put in the hard work to achieve your goals. They won't be handed to you, so you need to give it a 100% effort.
What's the funniest or weirdest reason you have had DNF?
I fell in an event on a small dirt hill once and somehow fell randomly into a pile of rocks and busted my face and got a huge black eye and needed stitches. It was my first DNF ever, so I guess it's the best one I had. I try to never give up.
Why did you choose the Rabaconda 3-Minute Mousse Changer?
I chose the Rabaconda because I want my tire changing to be easy. Using the Rabaconda make it effortless.
