In 2012, Christophe Nambotin made his childhood dream come true by becoming an Enduro World Champion. In an amazing season, with a round to spare, Nambotin conquered the E3 class. Since then, he has continued his winning streak with a double win in E3 in 2013 and in E1 in 2014.

How did you get started with riding?

I started riding at 5 with a PW50.

What do you do when you are not riding?

I spend my time with my family.

What are your hobbies?

Jet-skiing and biking with my children.

What do you do in the off-season?

I have a big party when I win the title!

Do you have any pre-race rituals?

No, nothing!

Where’s your favorite place to ride?

I don’t have a favorite place.

Your favorite track?

I love fast enduro tests with a small line.

What was your best moment as a pro rider?

Getting my first title in the World Enduro Championship in 2012.

What are your riding goals?

Having fun and give my best!

What is your advice for those just starting out?

To be in advance and to leave riding the bike in corners.

What’s the most memorable DNF you’ve had?

A big crash during the GP of France in St Flour.
