Rabaconda Rider Antoine Méo [Q&A]

More than 20 years have passed since Antoine Méo started to ride. The Frenchman spent his early years on motocross and supercross tracks, until 2008 when he decided to change to enduro. Since then Méo has been collecting a lot of E1 and E2 titles.

How did you get started in riding?

In 1988 with a Honda QR 50 when I was 4 years old.

What do you do when you are not riding?

I’m also a farmer.

What are your hobbies?

Rally cars and wakeboarding.

What do you do in the off-season?

Skating, sports and parties!

Do you have any pre-race rituals?

No, nothing!

Where’s your favorite place to ride?

At home where I have some different tracks.

Your favorite track?

The sand track in Sardinia.

What was your best moment as a pro rider?

In 2009, competing against Mr. Ahola.

What are your riding goals?

To always have fun riding and racing!

What is your advice for those just starting out?

To look ahead to anticipate the danger.

What’s the funniest or weirdest DNF reason you have had?

My big crash during the GP of Finland last year.
