A good tire change deserves a good balance job. The Rabaconda Motorcycle Wheel Balancer is the last step in the process. It turns a mounted tire into a mounted-and-dialed tire, so your first ride on fresh rubber feels like it should.
The frame runs on sealed ball bearings with low rotational friction, which matters because a static balancer is only as accurate as its ability to settle. The HACS™ (Hand-Adjustable Cone System) lets you dial the cone to your specific axle diameter by hand, no tools required, so the wheel sits centered and true before you spin it. The shaft is 12mm in diameter; the cones top out at 35mm standard, and with the Rabaconda Universal Big Hub Adapter or BMW Shaft Drive Adapter, fitment extends out to 72mm.
The powder-coated steel construction is rigid and durable, and the adjustable feet mean it sits level on surfaces that aren't. The design is gravity-driven, so if your bench isn't perfectly level, it doesn't matter; the wheel still finds its heavy spot.
When you're done, it mounts to the wall. The included wall-mount bracket is there for the majority of garages, trailers and toy haulers where bench real estate is spoken for. Bolt it up, hang the balancer, and it's out of the way until you need it.
The full kit breaks down in seconds and fits into the included Carry Bag, which has storage compartments for small tools like wheel weights, the included Wheel Weight Remover Knife, and the two Allen keys that ship with it. There's also a built-in magnet for the Allen keys, because a 4mm and 5mm that disappear into a drawer are keys you're buying again. The balancer also fits directly into the Street Bike Tire Changer's Carry Bag if you're already running that kit and want to consolidate.

Do I need to level it, or use a bubble level?
No leveling needed. Just adjust the two feet so it sits steady on your bench or wall mount. The shaft has grooves that prevent axial movement, and gravity pulls the heaviest spot down regardless of the angle the balancer is sitting at.
What's the shaft diameter and cone size?
Shaft diameter is 12mm; the cones have a maximum diameter of 35mm standard. For bigger hubs, the Universal Big Hub Adapter (32-68mm) or BMW Shaft Drive Adapter (62/72mm) extend that range.
Does it work with single-sided swingarm wheels?
Yes, the Street Bike Tire Changer's Universal Big Hub Adapter (32-68mm) and BMW Shaft Drive Type Adapter (62/72mm) are both compatible with the Wheel Balancer too.
Should I remove the sprocket and brake disc before balancing?
Generally no, it's recommended to leave them on. That way the wheel you're balancing matches what it will actually feel like once it's back on the bike and in use.
Are wheel weights included?
No, the balancer ships with a Wheel Weight Remover Knife, but wheel weights themselves are sold separately.
Does it pair with a specific tire changer?
It's designed as the natural companion to the Street Bike Tire Changer and also works alongside the Dirt Bike Tire Changer. It even fits inside the Street Bike Tire Changer's carry bag if you want to consolidate gear.
Is it a static or dynamic balancer?
Static: the wheel spins freely on sealed bearings and gravity settles the heavy spot at the bottom of its rotation, which is the standard approach for home and small-shop use.
Where do I position the wheel supports on the wheel for the most accurate balance?
Position the wheel supports, standard or Carbon Fiber, all the way out toward the edge of the wheel's diameter, near the tire, but resting on the wheel itself rather than the tire. That gives the most accurate read on the wheel's actual balance point.
Will the Universal Big Hub Adapter or BMW Adapter fit every BMW model?
Not universally. A small number of BMW hubs, certain F800GT model years among them, are narrower than either adapter is designed for. If an adapter doesn't seat properly on your BMW wheel, contact us with your model and year and we'll help confirm the right fit before you order a replacement part.
Is a static balancer as accurate as the dynamic machines shops use?
For street and dirt bike wheels at home-mechanic speeds, yes. A static balancer settles the heavy spot accurately using gravity alone, the same principle professional static balancers use trackside. Dynamic (spin) balancing machines are built for high-volume shop use and aren't typically necessary for a home garage.

The darn thing rips! I love the wall mount option is great cuz you stand up vs sitting in the ground or putting it in a table. Plus my old balancer did not have the spindle grooves to keep it in the bearings. It’s also heavy so the wheels do not make it tippy. Overall, I love it and it’s well with the money.

I bought this balancer to speed up wheel prep and it exceeded expectations. The bearings and material quality are top-notch — very tight tolerances and an excellent finish. The conical spacers fit the axle and wheel perfectly, and the threaded adjustment lets you fine-tune and re-tighten for an absolutely secure fit every time. The machined tip with a locator groove ensures the bearing seats in exactly the same spot on each mount, which makes balancing consistent and repeatable. It’s also very user-friendly: easy to mount/unmount, has simple leveling adjustments, and is portable. Includes a wall-mount option (handy for storage if you don’t use it on the wall) and accepts all Rabaconda adapters I already have from the tire changer — so it will work with virtually any wheel you change. If you want reliable, repeatable wheel balancing, this is absolutely great buy.
The R1250GS rear wheel adapter worked buttery smooth with the balancing stand. High quality build that fits in the small carrying bag. Much easier to share with friends!
Wheel balancer is amazing. Finally you get what you pay for, a well engineered product that surpasses all other product’s on the market. Love the wall mount option, using it mounted to the trailer wall when at the track worked out perfectly. Worth the extra dollar bills yo.
Good wheel balancer. You still need to level it to get a good balance. Luckily I have a level that I can use. I would buy a bubble level as mod. Would be nice if there was a place for tools and wheel weights for a more permanent solution other than the magnet on of the pillars.

Works great, other than one of the leveling bolts was bent which limited its travel. I assume it was that way out of the box as I didn’t drop or hit it. However, I still managed to make it level and balanced my first tire. Not sure how to fix it.

This is a great balance stand. Very well made, and a bonus is it came with a wall mount for storage. The only reason that this didn't get five stars is that it does not come with anything to use for checking if your rim is true.
Far overdo to buy a product for my DIY tire balancing. Video tutorial by Rabaconda on YouTube is great. Spot on to make the job easy and straightforward. Recommend since shops don’t put in the time needed to get the perfect balance. You want something done right? DIY!

When I ordered it I wasn’t sure how easy and effective it would be, but then once I set it up (which was super easy) and used it, I found that it was super easy to use, and totally saved me a trip to the shop, and saved me a bunch of money. I wish I could have purchased the weights as an option from Rabaconda, as it would have saved me having to order them on Amazon separately. Overall I am a very happy customer, and would recommend this balancer to anyone changing tires regularly!

I got the Wheel Balancer at the same time as the Street Bike Tire Changer during the Memorial Day sale and it is essential to the process. I finally got to change my tires and I was concerned that the balancing was going to be so hard because no one wants an unbalanced tire(s) on their bike. Boy was I wrong. I watched the tutorial video and proceeded to do my own tires. This was WAY easier than I ever expected it to be. Just make sure your balancer is level and everything is good. I highly recommend this Tire Balancer.

The most common cause for a bent Spindle is the Wheel Supports not fully supporting the wheel. If the wheel support is under the tire and not the wheel, you will most likely bend the Spindle when breaking the Bead.
